The Broughams have been creating captivating music since 2015. Our journey is filled with passion, creativity, and a commitment to delivering unforgettable performances.
The Broughams are made up of some of the most accomplished & sought after players in the west coast blues scene. We have been playing all over SoCal for the last ten years and have been featured at The New Blues Festival in Huntington Beach, The Orange County Blues Festival in Anaheim, Shoreline Village Concert Series in Long Beach, The Kern River Rock N Blues Festival and The Desert Blues Revival in Palm Springs. We are currently playing regularly at Hangar 24 in Irvine, Shenanigans in Long Beach, Highway 39 Event Center in Anaheim, The House Of Blues in Anaheim, Old Town Blues Club in Temecula, The Gaslamp in Long Beach, Phil Trani's in Long Beach, The Cliff in Laguna Beach, Malainey's Long Beach, Rock & Brews in Buena Park, & Pelican Isle in Huntington Beach. Our performances go from dynamic slow groovin vibes to high end jump blues and swing and everything in between, with musicianship second to none.
Soulful, heartfelt, and at times in your face vocals by three guys that have all fronted multiple known bands. Groovin rhythms and tones by an unstoppable drummer and bass player that lock in every time. Sweet six string melodies and ripping leads along with piano and organ and a splash of killer harmonica.
Led by Mike Malone on piano, harmonica and vocals. Mike being a well known, west coast musician that has toured the world and performed on too many recording sessions to list. His performance shines with soulful charm and wit.
Across the stage is Brophy Dale on guitar and vocals. An international touring musician in his own right, bringing his own style and class to every musical situation he is a part of. Brophy has recorded and shared stages with legends and has a unique way of bringing the audience closer to the music with every show.
Chris Smith on upright & electric bass and vocals, brings his own brand of blues, rockabilly, and swing to everything he plays. Chris is constantly in the studio or on the road with multiple acts, locking in with the band and interacting with the audience.
In the driver's seat is "The General" Greg Mitchell on drums and vocals. Greg has been touring and recording with various bands for most of his life. Always keeping the band perfectly in time and grooving.
